These Terms of Service govern your use of the Busso Engineering website and the purchase of products from us. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.

1. About Us

Busso Engineering designs and manufactures specialist automotive components for enthusiasts and restoration projects.

2. Products

We make every effort to ensure product descriptions, photographs and specifications are accurate.

As many products are manufactured in small batches or by hand, minor cosmetic variations may occur between products. These variations do not affect function or quality.

Product specifications may change without notice as part of our continuous product improvement programme.

3. Vehicle Compatibility

Customers are responsible for ensuring a product is suitable for their vehicle before purchase.

Compatibility information is provided in good faith but may not account for previous modifications, production changes or non-standard vehicles.

If you are unsure whether a product is suitable, please contact us before ordering.

4. Installation

Products should be installed by a competent person using appropriate tools and workshop practices.

Busso Engineering cannot accept responsibility for damage caused by:

  • Incorrect installation.

  • Improper use.

  • Vehicle modifications.

  • Failure to follow supplied instructions.

Any damage resulting from incorrect installation is not covered under warranty.

5. Motorsport & Competition Use

Some products may be intended for off-road, motorsport or competition use only where stated.

It is the customer's responsibility to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations governing vehicle modifications and road use.

6. Orders

An order confirmation acknowledges receipt of your order but does not constitute acceptance.

We reserve the right to cancel orders due to pricing errors, stock availability or other unforeseen circumstances. Any payments received will be refunded in full.

7. Pricing

All prices are displayed in Pounds Sterling (GBP).

Where applicable, VAT will be charged in accordance with UK legislation.

Shipping charges are calculated separately unless otherwise stated.

8. Shipping

Estimated dispatch times are provided as guidance only.

Many products are manufactured to order or produced in limited batches. Dispatch dates may vary depending on production schedules.

Busso Engineering is not liable for delays caused by couriers or customs authorities.

9. Returns

Returns are governed by our separate Returns & Refunds Policy.

Custom-made, personalised and made-to-order products are generally non-returnable unless faulty.

10. Warranty

Our products are manufactured using quality materials and inspected before dispatch.

If you believe a product has developed a manufacturing defect, please contact us promptly so we can assess the issue.

This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear.

  • Incorrect installation.

  • Abuse or misuse.

  • Accident damage.

  • Vehicle collisions.

  • Damage caused by excessive heat, chemicals or improper maintenance.

  • Modification of the product after purchase.

Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Busso Engineering shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from the use or installation of our products.

Our total liability shall not exceed the purchase price of the product concerned.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability where it cannot legally be excluded under UK law.

12. Intellectual Property

All product designs, CAD models, photographs, drawings, logos and website content remain the intellectual property of Busso Engineering unless otherwise stated.

No material may be copied, reproduced or distributed without prior written permission.

13. Privacy

Personal information is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

14. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
